The Blocks Rock! game was invented in 2005 at Wilbraham & Monson Academy (WMA) by a team of Blake Middle School students who called themselves “Santa’s Elves.” Glenn Hanson, the father of one of the Santa’s Elves team members saw potential in the Blocks Rock! product as an educational tool and fundraising mechanism, which transformed Blocks Rock into a studen-run, international company.

Blocks Rock!
Object of the Game
Blocks Rock! is a competitive and educational game where two players, or two teams of players, compete to build a color-and shape-specific structure in the shortest amount of time. Accuracy is key, and a player or team only wins when the structure is completed successfully.

The game involves choosing a card with the structure to replicate, building the structure out of colored blocks, and ringing a bell to stop the clock once the structure is completed. At the end of the game, the winner is either the player or team with the most cards, or with the most points as indicated on each card.
